The Hikmicro B21LS Handheld Thermal Camera is designed for technicians who need reliable and detailed temperature measurements across building, HVAC, electrical, automotive, and industrial applications.

The B21LS boasts a 256 × 192 IR detector (49,152 pixels), providing detailed thermal images with high sensitivity (NETD < 40 mK) and a wide temperature range of -20°C to 550°C. This ensures that even the smallest temperature changes are detected and that faults that cannot be seen with the naked eye are pinpointed easily, allowing users to identify heat anomalies fast and make informed decisions on site. A VOx detector combined with an onboard image enhancement algorithm provides sharp, clean thermal images suitable for reporting and analysis.

For improved definition, SuperIR increases the displayed resolution to 640 × 480, while the 25 Hz frame rate provides smooth imaging when scanning or panning across equipment, pipework, or building structures. All images are viewed on the 3.2-inch LCD and remains clear in a wide range of lighting conditions. The B21LS records accurate temperature readings with an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%, depending on conditions, and automatically tracks maximum, minimum, and centre points to highlight thermal extremes during inspections.

Specialist features include a built-in alarm system that alerts the user via speaker and flashes a torch when temperature thresholds are exceeded, adding safety during high-risk inspections. The B21LS can be fitted with an optional clip-on macro lens to measure components as small as 500 microns in applications such as PCB inspection and other fine-detail electrical work.

Integrated Wi‑Fi connectivity allows seamless transfer of thermal images to a smartphone or tablet using the Hikmicro Viewer App, enabling instant sharing or remote monitoring. The B21LS also comes with Hikmicro Analyser Software, offering a full suite of tools such as points, lines, rectangles, circles, and polygons for detailed inspection review and comprehensive reporting.

The B21LS includes 16G of built-in eMMC storage (user available space is less than nominal), storing approximately 35,000 radiometric JPEG images and up to 114 hours of video. Power is supplied by a rechargeable Li‑ion battery that provides up to six hours of continuous use, with a full recharge taking approximately three hours.

Designed for durability, the B21LS has an IP54 rating, protecting it against dust and water splashes, and has been tested to withstand drops from heights of up to two metres. It operates reliably within a working temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, while safe storage is guaranteed between -20°C and +60°C, making it suitable for demanding environments and varied climates.
