The Hikmicro BX20 Intrinsically Safe Thermal Imaging Camera is ATEX and IECEx certified for intrinsically safe thermal camera that can be used in hazardous areas. Hikmicro is an audited manufacturer of hazardous location equipment which means the BX20 gets ATEX Quality Assurance Notification (QAN) and IECEx Quality assurance Report (QAR). The BX20 features a 256 x 192 (49,152 pixels) camera featuring a highly sensitive (NETD < 40mK) Vox IR detector. The BX20 allows users to measure temperatures ranging from -20ºC to 550ºC (accuracy +/-2°C or +/-2% of reading) from as close as 0.3m (0.98ft). Full screen radiometric images and the camera will automatically track the max/min/centre spot that allows for temperature anomies to be spotted in a quick glance.

The BX20 boasts a 3.2in screen and a 2MP digital camera to capture digital images alongside thermal images and images can be enhanced thank to Hikmicro SuperIR image enhancement technology that can upscale any captured thermal images to 320 x 240 (76,800 pixels). Featuring a 25 Hz image frequency, the BX20 delivers smooth videos when the user is panning across scenes and moving targets. Users are able to choose from Thermal, Fusion, PIP and Visual modes to suit the operators preferred view. A number of colour palettes can also be chosen by the operator (White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Ironbow, Red Hot,Fusion).

The BX20 is powered by a built in 3350mAh Li-ion rechargeable battery that allows for 6 hours continuous use on a full charge. Auto power off settings (10/20/30/40/50/60 minutes) ensure battery life can be preserved when not in use during the working day.

The BX20 has a built in 15GB flash memory that allows for approximately 90,000 images. The BX20 is IP64 rated which provides full protection from dust ingress and is protected ted from water splash from any direction.
