The Hikmicro FT31 Firefighting Thermal Camera is a high-performance thermal imaging tool that provides firefighters reliable visibility to observe heat-emitting objects in total darkness and dense smoke. Its benefits include enhanced situational awareness, lifesaving operations and keeping firefighters safe under demanding conditions.

With a 384 x 288 VOx uncooled infrared detector (110,592 pixels), the FT31 produces sharp and detailed images and features a sensitive NETD of < 30 mK, which ensures that even the smallest temperature differences are detected. This makes it possible to accurately identify hidden fire sources, victims and hotspots.

The FT31 reliably measures temperature ranges from -20°C to 1200°C (-4°F to 2192°F) and automatically tracks hot, cold, and centre spots in real time, thus assisting firefighters in locating fire sources, observing fire behaviour and heat spread, and identifying potential hazards with ease.

With a high frame rate of 60 Hz, the FT31 offers fast, smooth and real-time video that easily tracks moving objects and reduces motion blur, ensuring that firefighters scan environments without delay. The FT31 also features 8 colour palettes for visual flexibility in different scenarios, as well as a fusion and picture-in-picture function that overlays thermal images for better object recognition and situational context.

The FT31 can withstand operating environments up to 260°C (500°F) for short durations, while its rugged housing is IP67-rated for water and dust resistance and compliant with IEC 60529 standards. It also passes drop and shock resistance testing, ensuring dependable performance in the harshest firefighting environments.

Boasting 16GB of internal storage, the FT31 is capable of storing approximately 281,600 images or 15 hours of video, offering extensive documentation post-incident and allowing firefighters to review thermal footage and analyse temperature patterns after operations. A large 4.3" LCD screen display provides clear visuals even in smoky or high-glare conditions, with intuitive, glove-friendly controls for easy navigation. Rechargeable lithium batteries power the FT31, providing it with up to 6 hours of continuous operation, plus the batteries are field-swappable to ensure extended use during long operations.
