Megger DLRO2 Wind Turbine Testing Kit

The Megger DLRO2 Wind Turbine Testing Kit combines the DLOR2 ohmmeter with the updated KC-C series test leads to offer a new lightweight solution to wind turbine lightning protection testing. The DLOR2 is a handheld 2 Amp low resistance ohmmeter with an integrated long lead testing function, specifically designed for applications and structures requiring longer length test cable usage. The long lead testing feature allows for up to 1A of test current into 4 ohms resistance, while the lightweight design of the KC-C test leads now saves an additional 7kg+ over previous models (KC100 vs KC100C).

The DLRO2 features a vast array of impressive features, including an an innovative difference meter, allowing repetitive measurements to be compared easily with an adjustable reference value. The large colour LCD screen allows for 3 results to be viewed simultaneously, making it ideal for 3 phase systems. The device is small enough to be held in one hand and the large rotary dial allows for easy mode and function selection. The impressive battery life will provide up to 500 tests with a single charge and will recharge to full capacity within 2.5 hours.

The KC-C series test leads are IP68 rated and are available in 50m or 100m variations; for applications requiring additional length a 50m extension lead can also be added. The plastic click-to-lock connectors ensure a stable and sturdy connection and also allow for terminations to be fitted on either end of the leads. The lead diameter is an impressively thin 6mm, while the included spring loaded Kelvin probe tips are made hardened gold plated metal.

The updated design of the KC-C test leads and the integrated long lead test mode of the DLOR2 make this a feature rich and convenient option for those working on wind turbine installations. The kit is completed by an extensive range of accessories and a 3 year extendable warranty, adding considerable additional value.
