Metrel A1422 Active Three-Phase and Welding Equipment Adaptor

The Metrel A1422 Active Three-Phase and Welding Equipment Adaptor is a versatile piece of kit that supplements the Metrel MI3321 Machinery Tester and the MI3310 SigmaPAT and MI3360 OmegaPAT PAT testers. It features built in sockets including CEE three-phase to 32A 5 pin, CEE three-phase to 16A 5 pin and CEEE single phase to 16A three-pin.

It allows testing on three-phase appliances via its unique range of tests, comprising active polarity testing, differential leakage testing and three-phase RCD testing. The maximum current of the adaptor is 40A, thus making it suitable for most industrial environments, whilst numerous sockets provide options for testing various extension leads.

In addition to regular three-phase testing, the Metrel A1422 is suitable for testing ARC Welding Units in compliance with EN 60974-4. It can perform open-circuit voltage testing in addition to welding circuit leakage current measurement, no load voltage tests and welding insulation testing.

The Metrel A1422 is easy to connect to whichever supporting tester the user chooses and each device will automatically recognise the other. Testing procedures are user-friendly and easily understandable despite their comparative complexity and the unit even features pre-set testing sequences.

Tests and results can be saved to the large internal memory and then reported and printed using the software of the supporting tester. All necessary accessories are included and the waterproof casing shields the adaptor from the elements.
