Metrel A1507 Three-Phase Active Switch

The Metrel A1507 Three-Phase Active Switch is a superb accessory for multifunction testers such as the Metrel MI3152 Eurotest XC or MI3155 Eurotest XD. In combination with these MFTs and AUTOSEQUENCE testing, the switch brings a further degree of automation to safety testing on three-phase systems.

The Metrel A1507 has banana socket outputs for connection to three-phase systems and operates through Bluetooth communication with a compatible Metrel MFT. It supports tests such as voltage, phase sequence, earth continuity, earth resistance, N-PE resistance, RCD testing and loop/line impedance.

With this wide range of tests, the Metrel A1507 effectively eliminates the need to test each phase in turn or produce a complex series of test leads, probes and crocodile clips. It has five 4mm shrouded banana connections for L1, L2, L3, PE, and N which are coordinated via internal motor driven switchgear in conjunction with the MFT in question. A single connection is then made to the MFT.

The Metrel A1507 adaptor has a typical battery life of 10 hours and comes supplied with a power supply adaptor and three rechargeable batteries as well as five phase connection leads with test tips, probes, crocodile clips and a calibration certificate. A soft carry case is also provided.
