Metrel MD1160 LCD Voltage/Continuity Tester

The Metrel MD1160 LCD Voltage/Continuity Tester is a two-pole voltage absence tester that detects both AC and DC voltage presence (0 to 690V) as well as performing continuity testing, indicating polarity, performing single-pole phase testing and carrying out phase rotation testing. The tester also features a useful extra-low voltage indication to help ensure user safety.

A visual indication of voltage is given by the LED bargraph display up to 690V whilst the LCD screen provides a more exact voltage reading. Phase rotation is also indicated via clear LEDs and the continuity test function uses an audible buzzer for feedback to the user.

The battery-powered Metrel MD1160 is extremely light and easy to use. It has an impressive IP64 water and dust resistance rating and is safety rated as Cat III 1000V and Cat IV 600V. A torch is built in to the tester so it is very practical in dark, cramped conditions. Overall it provides several functions including voltage testing for a very reasonable price.
