The Metrel MD9226 TRMS 600A AC/DC Clamp Meter is a professional electrical measuring tool with a number of notable modes and functions. This meter measures DC and True-RMS AC voltage and current up 600 V and 600 A respectively. An integrated LCD display (3-5/6 digit, 6000 count) with powerful backlight illuminates the screen in poorly lit environments. This unit also possesses an auto power off function, ensuring reduced battery power wastage while working in the field.

The MD9226 has a variety of features that make it a useful tool in a number of industrial and professional environments, including automatic non-contact detection of electromagnetic fields to trace live conductors, and a data hold button to enable temporary freezing of values. This unit also sports an auto-ranging feature for convenience and min, max and average data functions inbuilt.
