Metrohm LLT3.3 3.3kV AC Live Line Test Kit

Metrohm Live Line Test Kits (LLT Kits) comprise multiple testing accessories used to conduct safe HV electrical measurements in locations such as substations, HV panels and switchgear. The kits can also be used to verify both live voltage and phasing on overhead distribution power lines.

The live line test kit is supplied in a heavy duty carry case, featuring secure compartments that house all of the individual components. The live line tester itself is constructed from high quality fibreglass rods and polycarbonate mouldings. The durable construction materials allow the test kit to be used in harsh weather conditions, whilst having the ability to operate in temperatures ranging between - 25°C and + 50°C.

Complying with IEC1243 part 2, the live line tester uses established methods for conducting  HV measurements. Measurements are displayed on an analogue meter that is ecased in a housing which can be rotated through 240 degrees for maximum visibility. A battery operated proving unit is provided that allows the LLT to be proved across its full range both before and after measurements have been made.

Optional after-market accessories are available including adaptors that allow Bowthorpe Rods to be connected that are suitable for testing raised conductors. A Repeater Station is also available that replicates meter readings at ground level.
