Pulsar AXION XG30 COMPACT Thermal Imaging Monocular
The Pulsar AXION XG30 Thermal Imaging Monocular is a compact and affordable thermal imaging instrument that is equipped with a 640x480, 12µm thermal sensor. It can detect heat signatures up to 1300m, regardless of size, with its powerful 30mm f1.2 objective lens also able to improve detection. The sensor’s <40mK NETD rating ensures clear, high-contrast imagery with minimal noise. A wide 14.6° field of view boosts scanning efficiency, allowing for faster heat source detection and close observation while maintaining situational awareness.
The Pulsar AXION XG30 COMPACT offers three sensitivity amplification levels, enhanced by advanced filtration algorithms and precise brightness and contrast adjustments. This optimises object rendering, improves environmental clarity, and strengthens detection across various weather and lighting conditions. Additionally, the Picture-in-Picture (PiP) mode displays a zoomed-in view in the top 10% of the screen, allowing for detailed inspection of a target without disrupting the broader field of observation.
The Pulsar AXION XG30 COMPACT features a high-contrast 640×480 AMOLED display, delivering sharp, smooth thermal imagery with enhanced color rendering. One of its standout qualities is its ultra-compact, lightweight design, ensuring comfortable handheld use. Its ergonomic four-button layout allows for seamless operation, making it easy to access key functions. Despite its small size, the XG30 is built for durability, featuring an IPX7 rating for complete protection against heavy rain and harsh weather. A rugged magnesium alloy shell further enhances its resilience, ensuring long-lasting performance in the field.
The Axion XG30 COMPACT comes with a quick-swap APS3 rechargeable battery, providing up to 7 hours of continuous use. USB-C fast charging minimises downtime, offering multiple charging options, including a Pulsar charger, household power, or USB. With 8 color palettes, users can optimize their view for different tasks—White Hot, Black Hot, and Red Hot enhance detection, while Rainbow and Ultramarine improve recognition. Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet help reduce eye strain during extended nighttime use. A built-in photo and video recorder captures every moment, with ample internal storage for hours of footage and thousands of images, all accessible at the press of a button.
