The Pulsar TELOS XL50 Thermal Imaging Monocular is a high-performance, fully upgradeable device with an impressive detection range of up to 2,300 meters. Designed for maximum versatility, the Telos series allows users to customise and upgrade components as needed, ensuring long-term adaptability and relevance. Built to perform in all conditions, whether it be day or night, rain or shine, the XG50 features a cutting-edge European-made thermal sensor with 1024x768 resolution, 12 µm pixel pitch, and <40 mK NETD sensitivity. Its premium germanium lens delivers exceptional image clarity and detection capabilities, even in challenging environments such as heavy rain, dense fog, snow, or high humidity. Users can choose between the standard XL50 model or an enhanced version equipped with a Laser Range Finder, offering precise distance measurements and extended long-range performance.

The Telos XL50 is powered by Pulsar’s Image Boost technology, which delivers exceptional detail, clarity and contrast. Advanced image processing algorithms enhance complex scenes by sharpening objects and refining details at varying distances, delivering high thermal informativity. The XL50 also features manual control over sensor sensitivity, allowing users to fine-tune detection performance based on their environment. Additionally, a smoothing filter combined with comprehensive brightness and contrast adjustments ensures a consistently high-quality viewing experience during observation.

The XL50 also features an intuitive button layout on the top panel, which allows for comfortable and simple operation. An adjustable hand strap is able to support both left and right handed users, easily rotating to either side for convenience. The objective lens houses both the focus and magnification rings, which enables smooth zoom adjustments and fast, precise focusing for an optimised viewing experience.

The XL50 also offers a highly customisable user experience, with adaptable controls and an intuitive interface that lets users prioritise menu items and button configuration for quick access to the most relevant and essential functions. The XL50 features eight colour palettes, which enable for the optimisation of visibility for various tasks and conditions, whether that be object detection or recognition, or extended night time observation. Built to withstand tough environments, the XL50 is encased in a durable rubber-coated polymer that provides a secure grip, resists wear, and is easy to clean. An IPX7 water resistance rating ensures that performance is reliable, even when submerged in up to 1 meter of water for 30 minutes. Engineered to operate reliably in extreme temperatures from -25°C to +40°C, the XL50 delivers consistent performance even in the harshest environments. It also includes a built-in still image and video recorder with 64GB of internal storage, enabling users to effortlessly capture and store hours of footage and hundreds of images.

Stream Vision 2 is available for use with this product, with this free application able to further enhance selected PULSAR products.

Stream Vision 2 is a mobile application designed to enhance the functionality of Pulsar's thermal imaging, digital night vision, and multispectral electro-optic devices by connecting them to smartphones via Wi-Fi. Available for both Android and iOS platforms, the app offers features such as real-time image streaming, remote device control, and firmware updates. Users can access free cloud storage to synchronize and store photos and videos, making them accessible across various devices. Additionally, the app provides a newsfeed to keep users informed about the latest developments in night vision and thermal imaging technologies.

Key functionalities of Stream Vision 2 include remote real-time image viewing, allowing users to see live footage from their devices on their smartphone screens, and a photo and video browser to manage and share media files. The app also enables remote control of device settings, with real-time updates visible in the viewfinder for on-the-go adjustments. Firmware updates are streamlined through the app, ensuring devices are equipped with the latest features and enhancements. The integrated newsfeed keeps users updated on advancements and news in the night vision market, including updates from Pulsar and Yukon.
