The Pulsar TELOS XQ35 Thermal Imaging Monocular is a highly sensitive, fully upgradeable instrument with an impressive 1300m detection range. The Telos range is fully upgradeable to suit the needs of the user, with the components able to replaced for more relevant and powerful ones. Whether it be day or night, or rain or shine, nothing will remain unseen with this impressive Lynred thermal sensor, which is European-made and has a sensitivity of 384×288, 17 µm, <25 mK NETD. This, paired with the powerful 35mm f/1.0 fast-aperture germanium objective lens, delivers exceptional thermal imaging performance, with a large detection range in virtually any weather condition, including heavy rain, dense fog, snow, and high humidity. The user can select between a standard Pulsar TELOS XQ35, or one that is equipped with a Laser Range Finder, which enhances its functionality by providing precise distance measurement and enhancing its long range capabilities.
Pulsar's Image Boost technology ensures that the TELOS XQ35 is able to provide the highest possible level of detail, clarity, and contrast. Image processing algorithms work to render complex scenes, which ensure high levels of thermal informativity, through the enhancement of detail and object sharpening at a range of distances. The XQ35's thermal sensor sensitivity can be manually adjusted to improve the quality of detection, with a smoothing filter that has a wide range of brightness and contrast settings ensuring that long periods of observation are possible.
The Pulsar TELOS XQ35 has an easily-accessible button layout along the top panel of the monocular, which ensures use is both comfortable and convenient. An attachable hand strap allows for both left and right handed users to operate the XQ35, as it can be rotated from one side to the other with considerable ease. Focus and magnification rings are also located on the objective lens, which allows for the smooth magnification of imaging, and quick focusing.
The XQ35 offers a highly customisable user experience with adaptable controls and an interface that allows users to prioritise menu items and button configurations for quick access to essential functions. With eight color palettes, it enhances observation by optimising visibility for different tasks and conditions, including object detection, recognition, and long-duration night use. Built for durability, its polymeric rubber-coated casing provides a secure grip, resists wear, and is easy to clean, while its IPX7 rating ensures water resistance up to 1m for 30 minutes. Designed for extreme temperatures (-25°C to +40°C), it maintains reliable performance in harsh environments. Additionally, its built-in still image and video recorder, with 32GB of storage, enables users to effortlessly capture and save countless photos and hours of video.
The Pulsar Telos range is united by the concept of upgradability, with the possibility of technical component upgrades to suit the specific needs of the user. This is a more cost effective way to ensure you stay ahead of the curve when it comes to technological advancements. The XQ35 is available to be purchased as a standalone monocular, or with a built-in Laser Range Finder (LRF), which is able to measure distances in both single measurements and continuous scanning modes. It has a range of up to 1 kilometre, and an accuracy of ± 1 metre.
