Radiodetection RD510 Water Pipe Locator & Leak Detector (choice of kit)

The RD510 Water Pipe Locator & Leak Detector has been expertly designed for maintenance and repair work, which helps when pinpointing leaks with precision up to 16ft/5m deep. Water pipe leaks can lead to substantial water loss, increased operational costs, and the undermining of efforts made to ensure sustainable water management and supply, with the non-metallic nature of PVC and plastic pipes making them difficult to locate. The RD510 offers a user-friendly solution to this, with a high sensitivity microphone with a telescopic pole for precise detection, and an easy-to-use hand-held control unit with a colour touch screen.

The RD510 is both simple and straight forward to use, with an extendable metal spike that is able to be used on soft ground conditions, and a pulsed water transmitter that is able to provide a traceable pulse to the target pipe. This helps the user when performing preventative maintenance on water pipes, with RD510 kits further enhancing its abilities. These kits ensure that the RD510 is adaptable to suit most environments, whether that be thanks to a kit with a 4 bar Pulsed Water Valve, a 10 bar Pulsed Water Valve, or both in the 'Pro' kit.

The RD510 follows a simple, three-step locating process, which offers efficiency thanks to a highly sensitive acoustic sensor. Simply connect the RD510 to a fire hydrant, meter base or external trap, and then send a traceable sound into the target pipe using the Pulse Water Transmitter. The RD510 will then display accurately the location of the pipe, up to 45m away.

The RD510 Kits

The Standard Pressure Kit (4 bar) is supplied with a 4 bar Pulsed Water Valve, the High Pressure Kit (10 bar) is supplied with a 10 bar Pulsed Water Valve, and the Pro Kit comes with both of the valves. Each kit is also supplied with a range of accessories, such as a Hose Connection Kit, a Telescopic Pole, and a plethora of other useful instruments and accessories.
