Sauermann Si-RP4 Wireless Pressure Probe

The Sauermann Si-RP4 Wireless Pressure Probe is designed to give accurate high- and low-pressure measurements for air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump installations. It provides accurate readings across a wide pressure range of -1 to 60 bar (-14 to 870 psi), with a sensing accuracy of ±0.5% of full scale. It has a fine resolution down to 0.01 bar (0.1 psi), which allows for detailed measurement and system diagnostics. The Si-RP4 supports a wide range of refrigerants, including A1, A2L, A2, and A3 refrigerants, as well as selected B1 refrigerants, but must not be used with ammoniac refrigerant (NH₃ / R717).

The Si-RP4 comes in a polyamide casing that is reinforced with 30% glass fibre and TPE, offering long-lasting durability in demanding environments. The housing has a curved design that has a manageable weight of only 200g (0.44 lb), offering comfortable handling and convenience on the field. Rated IP54, the Si-RP4 is protected against dust and rain, and it operates reliably in ambient temperatures ranging from -20 to 50°C (-4 to 122°F). A single on/off button provides simple operation, allowing technicians to activate it quickly and efficiently.

Powered by three AAA alkaline batteries, the Si-RP4 delivers up to 150 hours of battery life at 20°C (68°F). This ensures reliable performance over extended service calls without frequent battery replacements. Featuring an automatic wireless pairing at a range of up to 100 m (328 ft), the Si-RP4 connects directly to the Sauermann Pilot mobile application via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication.

Through the Pilot app, available on both iOS and Android, technicians can:

  • Monitor real-time readings directly on their smartphone or tablet.
  • Record, create, and sign detailed service reports.
  • Export results in PDF or CSV formats for easy sharing and archiving.
  • Enhance workflow with photo integration and customer database management.
