The Sauermann Si-RT5 Large Diameter Pipe Temperature Probe is a wired probe that is designed to accurately measure temperature in air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump installations. It is important when it comes to calculating superheating and subcooling values during installation, servicing, and maintenance tasks.

Boasting a hook-and-loop fastener, the Si-RT5 can accommodate large pipes with diameters of up to 100 mm (3.9”), ensuring a secure fit and thermal contact. It comes with a high-speed NTC temperature sensor that delivers highly accurate readings, allowing technicians to perform efficient diagnostics and servicing across a wide measurement range of -20 to 85°C (-4 to 185°F).

The Si-RT5 has an easy-to-use design and features a Ø3.2 mm PVC reinforced cable that is 2m (6ft) long with a strengthened 3-point jack connector, capable of withstanding demanding environments as well as temperatures of up to 105°C (221°F). It connects seamlessly to Sauermann manifolds Si-RM350 and Si-RM450, making it an indispensable tool for HVACR professionals.
