Seaward PV200 Solarlink Test Kit

Complying with the solar photovoltaic testing criteria of BS EN 62446 and IEC 61829, the Seaward PV200 Solarlink Test Kits include accessories such as the Seaward Solar Survey 200R Irradiance Meter and Seaward SolarCerts Elements PC software, which expand the already impressive out-of-the-box specification offered by the Seaward PV200 Solar PV Tester and I-V Curve Tracer.

Seaward PV200 Solar PV Tester and I-V Curve Tracer

The PV200 Solar PV I-V curve tracer is an all-in-one, multifunction PV system tester capable of conducting all of the tests published within BS EN 62446. Moreover, the tester will log I-V and power curve measurements complying with IEC 61829, which can be viewed in great detail using either Seaward’s FREE PVMobile Android App or SolarCerts Element Software.

Although a solar PV installation can be tested using individual instruments, the PV200 can be easily connected into a circuit in order to conduct all of the required tests at the push of a button. This not only saves a vast amount of time when testing an installation, but the total cost of ownership is reduced with only having one instrument to maintain.

Seaward Solar Survey 200R Irradance Meter

The Seaward Solar Survey 200R Irradiance Meter is a wireless multifunction irradiance meter capable of measuring irradiance, compass bearing, roof incline pitch, ambient (air) temperature and PV (surface) temperature.

Data recorded by the Seaward Solar Survey 200R Irradiance Meter can be wirelessly (NFC) transferred to the PV200 installation tester. The parameters recorded by both of the instruments can be converted to STC (standard test conditions); providing that the test data is transferred using either the FREE Seaward PVMobile app or the Seaward SolarCert Elements PC Software (see below), it can be compared with the published data from PV cell manufacturers, providing a comprehensive means of assessing PV module efficiency. The Solarlink Test Kits also include a mounting bracket for the Solar Survey 200R, allowing for accurate measurements to be obtained, duplicating the environmental conditions of any proposed or pre-installed PV system.

Seaward SolarCerts Elements Software Package

The Seaward SolarCert Elements Solar PV Software enables solar PV installation and maintenance engineers to rapidly complete customised test reports and certificates, which can be stored and compiled to create consumer handover packs required by certification schemes (including MCS) and the BS EN 62446 standard.

Moreover, SolarCerts features a very comprehensive database of STC data. This database can be used in conjunction with both the PV200 and Solar Survey 200R in order to compare measured values to those published by cell manufacturers in order to regularly assess PV efficiency.
