TPI 285 Digital Clamp Meter

The TPI 285 Digital Clamp Meter is a compact, hand held auto ranging digital clamp meter with Bluetooth output allowing for use with the TPI View App. With a backlit display allowing for up to 6000 count dual measurements to be displayed, with minimum, maximum and average recordings shown. Accurately measure without the need to precisely position a wire or cable in the centre of the jaw/clamp.

The TPI 285 allows for Temperature measurements up to 1830ºF (999ºC) with a safety rating of CATIV 600V allowing for measurements to be taken in challenging environments. Frequency with duty cycle and inrush current measurement for motor start up currents, capacitance, DC microamps and non-contact voltage detection all features of the the TPI285. The Clamp meter is IPXO rated per IEC 60529 standards.

Offering True RMS for accurate voltage and amperage measurements, the TPI 285 is ideal for usage in industrial, domestic and commercial environments. Battery powered by 9V alkaline batteries, users will be able to use the clamp meter for approximately 90 hours (no backlight or Bluetooth).

TPI View App

The TPI 285 is compatible with the TPI View App allowing users to store measurements, create and email test reports to customers and colleagues with GPS tagged date and time thanks to Bluetooth LE communication. Using the app allows for remote readings to be taken showing live readings from a safe distance. Using the app also allows for measurements to be printed using the optional A711BT printer.
