The vibration analyser is capable of wireless communication to the included Android Tablet that allows for measurements to be read and viewed from a safe distance. The TPI 9043 boasts true simultaneous 3 channel capture that is used for 2 Plane balancing and phase and orbit features. Included in the kits are a 505L tachometer and a 2 pin MS connector accelerometer, curly cable and magnet combined.
Boasting standard BNC connectors, the 9043 is compatible with a Triaxial Accelerometer and proximity probes. The 9043 boasts a number of useful features including; a 24 bit A/D converter, DC to 30kHz frequency rate, 100 to 51,2000 line resolution and a 108dB dynamic range. The inclusion of a balancer on the kits provide users with the ability to set up fans.
Measurement data can be transferred wirelessly where available, or by USB-C should Bluetooth not be permitted. Users of the 9043 are able to use the instrument for up to 15 hours before recharging, allowing for a full shift being completed before charging is needed. The TPI 9043-3 boasts a rugged design with a IP67 protection rating with a protective rubber boot that is magnetic offering further protection and suitable for hands free use.
TPI 505L Tachometer
With the kits of the 9043 kits included a TPI 505L laser tachometer, which combines a photo and contact tachometer that measures motor input and output shaft speed. The 505L helps to determine the conveyor belt speed whilst confirming fan, motor and gear RPM. The RPM of flywheels and pumps can also be measured, with monitor pulley rotation RPM and turbine speeds. RPM can be measured ranging from 6 to 30,000 RPM with the last value, Max value, Min Value: Automatically saved and recalled.
Ultra III Android Tablet App
The TPI 9043 is compatible with the TPI Ultra III Android Tablet App that boasts a number a useful features. The app increases the range for assessing unbalance, misalignment or looseness of bearings from 2/10Hz to 1kHz ISO standards. The ap can also increase from 1kHz to 10kHz BDU range to help identification of bearing conditions. Further increases in the measurement range through the app include the high resolution (0.2Hz?) frequency spectra from 2Hz to 10kHz.
The App provides single and dual plane balancing and no tachometer (4-run) balancing. The app shows screen cursors in single, harmonic, moving harmonic, sideband and time/frequency for waveform.
TPI C-Trend II Software
Included with 9043-K2 Smart Wireless Vibration Analyser Kit with C-Trend II Software is software for enhanced asset management and high level fault diagnosis including DEMOD, Shaft Orbit and inspections. Routes can be easily created for operatives to follow to identify the measuring point and view the vibration and bearing conditions of a machine.
Users are able to create plans, area, machine trains and vibration points alongside user defined ISO and/or alarms levels. Vibration point fault frequencies from bearing database including inspection alerts with email notifications quick and easy to set up. Using the software, powerful trending can be conducted to help pinpoint issues before they become serious resulting in costly downtime.
