TPI SP341LK Smart Legionnaires’ Temperature Kit

The TPI SP341LK Smart Legionnaires’ Temperature Kit contains a range of devices that allow the user to check for legionella-friendly conditions in water systems such as those used in spa pools, air conditioning and bathrooms, typically in larger buildings like hotels, leisure centres and conference halls.

The main instrument in the TPI SP341LK Kit is the TPI SP341 Smart Thermometer. It is a single-channel thermometer which is compatible with any type K thermocouple with a mini connector and a wide measuring range of -50˚C to 1350˚C makes it extremely versatile.

Bluetooth connectivity means that the TPI SP341 does not need a screen but instead links up wirelessly to the user’s smartphone in order to work with the TPI View App. The app displays numerical and graphical readings on the smartphone’s screen and allows the user to save and export results from legionella inspections in a CSV file.

Two probes are provided in the TPI SP341LK Kit. The first is an FK13M penetration probe capable of measuring temperature in liquids and semi-solids. It has a standard type K connection and a temperature range of -40˚C to 850˚C. Measurements are taken via the 203mm x ø3.75mm stem.

The second probe in the kit is the CK15M heavy duty surface probe. This measures temperatures from -40˚C to 510˚C via a 203mm x ø14mm stem. It is typically used to measure temperature through flat or uneven pipe and tank surfaces where it is not possible to immerse a probe directly into the water.

All the components of the TPI SP341LK Legionnaires’ Kit can be stored in the pouch provided and it constitutes a simple yet high-tech solution for legionella testing in water systems.
