The Trend S40 FiberMASTER Fusion Splicer offers superior splice performance in just 7 seconds, and offers industry-leading repeatability to ensure that the last splice taken will match the accuracy of the first. The Fusion Splicer is used to join two optical fibers together to create a single, long fiber. With fully automatic modes that are able to detect the fibre type and set the optimal splicing parameters, the S40 ensures minimum splice loss in real-time. With a robust and reliable design that allow for use in a plethora of real-world conditions, you can be sure that this instrument is up for the task at hand.

The Trend S40 FiberMASTER uses 4 motors for precision cladding alignment of any type of fibre, which offers fast splicing and dependable performance. It is optimised for Fibre to the Home (FTTH), Access Networks, and Enterprise and Campus Networks. With a data capacity of 240 splice/heat cycles, and the ability to store up to 8,000 results, repeated use is available, with a protective cover ensuring that the splicer is well protected. The interface is easy to use, with touchscreen and push buttons ensuring the tool is easily-navigable.

The S40 is supplied with a variety of accessories, such as a carry case for safe and efficient transportation, and cleaning instruments. On top of this, the user will receive replacement electrodes, and several other accessories to enhance the instrument.
