Trend SignalTEK QT 10G Copper Qualification Tester (R166002)
The Trend SignalTEK QT 10G Copper Qualification Tester is a cloud-connected handheld tester designed to verify and qualify new or existing copper network cabling of up to 10Gb Ethernet speeds. The SignalTEK QT reliably supports the demands of modern multi-gigabit networks with bandwidths of up to 10Gb/s, making it ideal for network installers and technicians working on high-speed infrastructure upgrades or troubleshooting.
Efficient Multi-Gigabit Copper Testing
The SignalTEK QT tester allows rapid copper cable performance verification across multiple speed levels, including 10Mb/s, 100Mb/s, 1Gb/s, 2.5Gb/s, 5Gb/s, and 10Gb/s. It performs advanced cable testing by measuring NEXT, Return Loss, and Insertion Loss, helping technicians determine whether cabling infrastructure is suitable for its purpose. With functions like Live Wiremap and TDR fault location tools, the SignalTEK QT allows for fast identification and diagnosis of wiring issues, opens, shorts, and miswires, reducing the time required to troubleshoot on-site.
Designed with field efficiency in mind, the SignalTEK QT can conduct tests with up to 12 remote units (sold separately), making it ideal for large installations. It also includes built-in PoE load testing that supports up to 90W (IEEE 802.3 af/at/bt), verifying whether cables can deliver the necessary power for PoE devices. Additional features such as switch port diagnostics detect key details like switch port speed, name, number, and MAC/IP address.
The SignalTEK QT boasts an advanced network diagnostics suite that includes ping, traceroute, and device discovery. It can also identify top VLAN IDs (up to level 3) for validating segmentation and QoS configurations on business networks. The colour touchscreen interface makes user interaction simple and intuitive, allowing for quick configuration, real-time feedback, and in-depth test result review.
TREND AnyWARE Cloud Management System
TREND AnyWARE Cloud is a powerful cloud-based management platform designed to support the SignalTEK QT series and other TREND Network tools like LanTEK, FiberTEK IV, SignalTEK 10G, PoE PRO, and VDV II. It enables seamless collaboration, documentation, and project management across teams, no matter where they are located. The TREND AnyWARE Cloud is compatible with PCs, Macs, Android and iOS devices. With it, project managers are able to pre-reconfigure test jobs, view real-time test data, and assist technicians in the field via TeamViewer, resulting in faster troubleshooting and fewer call-backs.
Test results are automatically synced to the Microsoft Azure cloud, where teams create professional PDF reports, share links (instead of bulky email attachments), and attach project files such as cable layouts, photos, and videos. With both local and cloud storage for up to 2,500 results, teams are able to maintain full traceability for quality assurance, customer records, and warranty claims.
The Cloud Management Software also boasts a fleet management dashboard that shows which testers are in use, by whom, when they were last synced, and whether firmware updates are available. Software updates are installed directly from TREND AnyWARE Cloud using Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet, allowing for testers to be updated even when in the field without the need for a PC or special software.
