Vivax vLoc3-Cam Underground Pipe & Drain Sonde Locator

The Vivax vLoc3-Cam is a specialist sonde locator designed to make underground pipe and drain tracing faster, clearer and easier to interpret on site. Vivax positions it as an easy-to-use locator, with an omni-directional antenna array that allows the operator to approach the sonde from any direction, while on-screen directional arrows guide the user first to the front or rear locate point and then directly to the sonde position.

A major strength of the vLoc3-Cam is its flexibility across inspection and tracing applications. It supports multiple sonde frequencies, making it compatible with many major push cameras and crawler cameras, and it also includes a dedicated Pushrod Trace mode for tracing the path of the pushrod in the pipe. For wider locating work, the unit also includes Power and Radio passive modes, while active locating with an optional transmitter allows pushrod tracing using 33 kHz or 83 kHz, depending on setup.

The locator is built for professional field use, with a high-visibility 4.3 inch / 10 cm colour display, graphical locate screen, IP65 and NEMA 4 environmental protection, and a rugged high-impact ABS housing. It can run on six AA alkaline batteries or an optional lithium-ion rechargeable battery, giving users a practical choice between standard battery operation and longer rechargeable runtime.
