DiLOG ALVA Multifunction Installation Tester
The DiLOG ALVA Multifunction Installation Tester is a high-performance multifunction tester that has been expertly designed to meet the demands of electricians who are conducting installation testing, in accordance with the IET Wiring Regulations and BS EN 61557. It is ideal for use in a range of setting environments, such as domestic, commercial, and industrial sites, with the tester also able to support full 18th edition electrical verification, right from the initial installation checks to fault diagnosis and periodic inspection.
The DiLOG ALVA Multifunction Installation Tester has been designed to streamline workflows, and ensures that testing safety compliance and test traceability are front and centre. The instrument is designed for electricians who require accurate Earth Loop Impedance testing, RCD verification, continuity testing, and EVSE charger diagnostics. The ALVA MFT gives the user the confidence and clarity they need when on the job site. A full-colour TFT display and a high-resolution screen allows for the clearer interpretation of results in a range of environments. The ALVA MFT can also conduct comprehensive RCD testing, and is compatible with AC, A, B, B+, EV and F types, which ensures it can support all relevant installation scenarios including domestic circuits and EV charge points.
Continuity and Earth Loop Auto Start is able to speed up routine test procedures, and can display results onto a second screen, allowing them to be verified immediately. Intelligent loop detection can automatically recognises 2- or 3-wire Loop/PSCC tests, which removes the need for manual configuration and speeds up to the testing process. The DiLOG ALVA MFT offers advanced RCD diagnostics with customisable mA settings, EV charger testing including 6mA RDC-PD/MD verification, and RCD-LOC+ loop impedance technology for accurate, non-trip testing.
The ALVA Multifunction Installation Tester includes everything needed for immediate and accurate use: the tester itself, a hard shell carry case, silicone 3-wire lead set, ultra-slim GS38 shrouded test probes, and MFT mains lead, a shoulder harness, and a download lead. It also comes complete with 6 AA batteries, a calibration certificate, and a quick start guide.

DiLOG’s RCD-LOC+ Xpert Loop Technology introduces a new, more dynamic way of Non-Trip Loop Testing, by delivering high-accuracy, low-current Earth Loop measurements with an adjustable test current feature, optimising test precision based on your RCD current. This ensures reliable loop impedance testing while maintaining safety and accuracy in all environments.
