The FLIR E50 Thermal Imaging Camera builds on the foundations laid by the E40 model to provide an improved 320 x 240 pixel resolution, higher level of thermal sensitivity and a greater array of measurement and analysis features that far surpass any other infrared camera in its class.

The increase in thermal image resolution and sensitivity means the FLIR E50 inspection camera offers more detail and more accurate temperature readings allowing even the smallest of anomalies to be discovered, perfect for a range of applications from electrical and HVAC inspections to certain equine procedures. In addition, the E50 is now equipped with the unique MSX imaging feature which adds visual definition to your thermal images and makes locating faults a much simpler process (see additional image thumbnails for examples).

Wi-Fi connectivity allows the FLIR E50 thermal imaging camera to wirelessly connect with a smart phone or tablet for the quick transfer, analysis and sharing of images. Using the FLIR Viewer app, these thermograms can then be edited and imported into professional thermal analysis reports for presentation to both clients and colleagues.

Additional features of the FLIR E50 are the picture in picture and thermal fusion modes whereby thermal images can be overlayed or merged with the visual image for better analysis and easier fault location, a 3.1 mega pixel digital camera for visible light picture comparison, Meterlink for data transfer from an Extech clamp meter when performing electrical inspections and non-radiometric video streaming.

		240 x 180 pixel resolution The FLIR E50 infrared camera image resolution is 240 x 180 pixels, allowing a range of valuable thermal information to be displayed to isolate faults.
		Wi-Fi Connectivity Transfer images and data wirelessly to mobile devices (iPad or iPhone for example) for fast sharing and analysis of thermal reports.
		MeterLink Flir MeterLink technology allows data transfer from an Extech EX845 clamp meter and MO297 moisture meter onto the E50.

		Picture-in-Picture (PiP) For overlying the infrared image on the visual image while retaining all thermal data. This helps to spot dangerous temperature developments and is movable & resizable.
