Fluke Ti401U Thermal Imaging Camera
The Fluke Ti401U Thermal Imaging Camera is a mid-end model in Fluke's Classic Ultra Series, delivering a 640 × 480 infrared resolution that produces detailed thermal images. With a thermal sensitivity of 75 mK (0.075°C), it can detect small temperature differences that may indicate developing faults before they become serious problems. It includes both automatic and manual focus, a 25° × 19° field of view, and 1-10x digital zoom, offering flexibility when inspecting equipment at various distances.
The Ti401U has a temperature measurement range of between -20°C to 650°C and a temperature measurement accuracy of ±2°C or 2%, whichever is greater. It also includes intelligent range selection and compensation settings to improve measurement reliability. These settings account for:
- Emissivity
- Ambient temperature
- Reflected temperature
- Relative humidity
- Measurement distance
- IR windows
This allows users to take measurements across 16 spots, 8 lines and 12 areas, with high and low temperature alarms as well as temperature rise measurements, helping users identify potential issues more quickly.
The Ti401U also provides useful analysis directly on the camera. High and low temperature tracking automatically identifies temperature extremes, while maximum, minimum and average temperatures can be displayed on the thermal image. Captured images can be analysed using SmartView IR PC software, making it easier to review findings and document inspection results.
Combining thermal and visual information is straightforward with IR-Fusion and Picture-in-Picture (PIP). Users can adjust the blend between the infrared and visual images from 0% to 100%, helping pinpoint the exact component or area associated with a thermal anomaly. Additonal imaging features include:
- 13-megapixel digital camera

These features further extend the camera's versatility for different inspection environments.
For field inspections, the Ti401U features a 3.5-inch 640 × 480 LCD display, Bluetooth connectivity, USB and Mini HDMI interfaces, and a 64 GB Micro SD card expandable to 128 GB. Voice, text and label annotations, QR code scanning and time-lapse imaging help users record inspection information alongside captured images. The replaceable rechargeable battery provides around 2 to 3 hours of operating time, and a two-bay charger is included. The camera is designed to operate in ambient temperatures from-10°C to 50°C. A 2-year warranty and recommended two-year calibration interval provide additional support for long-term professional use.
