Hikmicro G40 High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera
The Hikmicro G40 High Resolution Thermal Imaging Camera is a handheld thermal imager that provides many high-performance features, easily and accurately detect hot spots and hidden deficiencies which are invisible to the naked eye. A resolution of 480 x 380 (172,800 pixel) providing a distinct thermal vision of the target. The 50Hz frequency give a clear vision when panning across target objects and scenes and moving targets. The G40 is ideal for use in many industries such as mechanical inspections, power utilities and building inspections to identify unseen issues. The 800 x 480 resolution 4.3inch LCD touchscreen provides a clear image and measurement of a chosen target. With the digital zoom of 1x, 2x, 4x and 8x in the live view interface, operators can adjust the digital zoom allowing for viewing of the target or scene in larger size.
The G40 has a temperature range of -20°C to 650°C whilst maintaining an high degree of accuracy (Up to ± 2°C, ± 2%). The cameras automatically changes the temperature measurement range based on the field of view.
The camera has four Image modes available: Thermal, Fusion, PIP and optical Modes, to suit a users preferred mode. The Hikmicro G40 also supports four types of focus modes continuous autofocus, Autofocus, Laser assisted focus and manual focus, to produce clear images leading to more accurate temperature measurements.
Hikmcro Viewer App and Analyser Software.
The Hikmicro G40 has inbuilt Wi-Fi to connect the camera to the Hikmcro Viewer App and Analyser Software. The App allows for images and videos to be viewed and shared, quickly and easily, the smart device can also be used as a second screen when using the App allowing for dual screening and remote viewing when measuring from a distance is safer for the operator. The Hikmicro Analyser software, allows users to further analyse captured thermographic data of pictures and videos to generate comprehensive professional reports. The G40 has a removable 64GB MicroSD memory card with storage for approximately 60,000 images or 54 hours of MP4 videos. Operators of the G40 are able to add text notes (up to 200 characters) and up to 60 seconds of audio to thermal images.
The G40 comes equipped with an integrated laser distance meter, allowing users to clearly view the centre point of the target on screen, helping increase the accuracy of the measurement. The laser can be used up to 50m indoors and up to 10m outside. Thanks to the 1-Tap level and span capabilities, the G40 allows users to focus on one area of a captured image and narrow the span with 1-Tap of the LCD screen.
The Camera is IP54 rated, offering protection from water and dust ingress. Further protection is provided by the drop test from 2m and hard carry case. Each of the two batteries provided, offer up to 4 hours operating time allowing for a full days use in the field. The Hikmicro G40 also features an LED light, allowing for testing to be conducted even under dark environments. The built in speaker of the G40 gives the operator an audible alarm should high temperatures be detected.
