Kane ASP2 Appliance Sampling Probe Kit

The Kane ASP2 Appliance Sampling Probe Kit contains three interchangeable probes with an insulated handle for use with Kane Flue Gas Analysers. The probes are suitable for analysing the combustion products of flueless appliances in accordance with BS 7967:2005.

The first probe is specifically designed for assessing grills as it has two oval supports and seven sampling holes throughout its 250mm sampling length.

The second is more suitable for gas fires and has five sampling holes over a 125mm sampling length. It also has a right-angle kink in order to help the user access the right phase of the combustion process.

The third and final probe is a general purpose probe. It is straight and has an open end at the top of the 325mm stalk so it is suitable for a wide range of flueless appliances.

The final component of the Kane ASP2 Kit is the handle which is attached to the two metre hose and compression fitting for connection to a flue gas analyser.
