Kane Auto600 Portable Diesel Smokemeter

The Kane Auto600 Portable Diesel Smokemeter is a battery and mains powered smokemeter, utilising an extraction chamber design to analyse diesel engine exhaust material. Near monochromatic visible light source (NMVLS) technology is used to assess the smoke density within the extraction chamber, displaying data in real time via a wireless handset.

The unit is fully self-powered and portable, featuring a rechargeable battery and a lightweight, compact design. The included probe is easy to position on any exhaust, with a range of additional probes able to be purchased and fitted for a variety of vehicles, engines and outlets. This analyser also meets recognised accuracy and repeatability standards for Cat A (cars and light commercial) and Cat B (commercial) vehicles.

The handset features a large and clear display with intuitive mode and function changing and can operate via a wired or wireless connection. Smoke peak data is displayed in Hartridge units (%H) and K (/m). The Auto600’s standard kit includes a high temperature exhaust probe, filter, charger and the IRP3 portable infrared printer, providing the ability to instantly print a copy of recorded data.
