KANE-GCU Gas Conditioning Unit

The KANE-GCU Gas Conditioning Unit removes flue gas vapour to ensure accurate NO2 and SO2 measurements. Flue gas water vapour is removed when flue gases pass through a cooling rod inside the Kane-GCU which causes water vapour to collect in the water trap up 20ml.

The 285mm flue gas probe measuring flue gases and temperature to 1250ºc using the 285mm high temperature flue probe provided, with optional longer lengths available. The Peltier chiller removes water vapour and alas stops NO2 and SO2 absorption loss.

With a large water trap and mains power supply allow for long term testing and an included 10M extension hose and thermocouple cable the Kane-GCU allows for measurement at the boiler control panel. With its lightweight design and easy to transport, the Kane-GCU is great tool to accompany a compatible Kane analyser.

Please note the KANE-GCU Gas Conditioning Unit is only compatible with the Kane 958 and 988 analysers and removes the need for a heated probe and hose.
