The Kane-VCT Voltage Indicator and Proving Unit Kit combines two impressive products with a handy carrying pouch to create an excellent and reliable Safe Isolation Kit. Compatible with both Multimeters and Voltage Testers, the Kane-VCT Kit brings together the Kane-VCT Voltage & Continuity Tester and the Kane-PU690V 690V AC Proving Unit at an affordable price. Built for maximum user safety, all procedures carried out with this kit are fully BS 61243-3:2014 and GS38 compliant.
Kane-VCT Voltage & Continuity Tester
The Kane-VCT Voltage & Continuity Tester is a professional three-in-one instrument featuring Phase Rotation testing and Single Pole Detection. Visual alerts are simple and clear thanks to a digital LCD display and bright incorporated LEDs. Capable of testing voltages between 12-690V AC/DC, this handheld ergonomic instrument also includes audible continuity and an LED torch light for use in dimly lit areas. Fully operational even when the batteries are flat or missing, the Kane-VCT is rated CAT IV 600V and utilises GS38 shrouded test probes.
Kane-PU690V 690V AC Proving Unit
The Kane-PU690V 690V AC Proving Unit ensures your voltage indicator is operating correctly and is high & low Z impedance compatible for proving voltage on multimeters. An ideal on-site safety solution for any final checks before embarking on live circuit testing, this unit is lightweight but protected by a hard-wearing housing. Alongside an AC voltage output of up to 690V, it also features a low battery indicator, 200k Ohm Load and CAT II 750V safety rating. This AC proving unit is fully in-line with the following standards:
