The Martindale BZ201 16A 230V Industrial Socket Tester is designed to efficiently identify potentially unsafe wiring and installation faults in industrial power sockets, making it a useful service tool which helps maintenance teams check socket wiring before installing new plant or equipment.

Conducting test is easy by simply plugging it into a compatible socket. The tester uses clear LED indication system to highlight wiring faults, with up to 28 fault conditions identifiable via the pattern of lit LEDs. If one or more LEDs fail to illuminate, the pattern immediately points to a potential problem. A lookup chart on the tester helps users quickly diagnose common faults, making the process easy even in busy industrial environments.

The tester is fitted with a classic check 230V 16A industrial plug that complies with BS EN IEC 60309-1 standards and it also checks the mains voltage level during testing, providing an additional layer of verification when assessing socket condition.

An integrated audible sounder confirms correct wiring, which is particularly helpful when sockets are difficult to see or located in hard-to-reach areas. The sounder can also be used as a basic fuse finder. When the correct fuse is removed, the buzzer stops, allowing users to quickly identify the correct circuit.

The tester features a robust ABS moulded housing designed for regular use in demanding workplaces.
