Martindale BZ820-EV EVSE Socket Tester

The Martindale BZ820-EV EVSE Socket Tester is the ideal instrument for the testing and checking of EV chargers that are fitted with Type-2 connectors. The tester is able to detect 28 wiring fault conditions, and also checks the voltage supply level. Three flashing freen LEDs and a continuous audible tone indicate correct polarity, and fault conditions are clearly indicated by three red LEDs and a warning buzzer. The BZ820-EV is also able to identify socket polarity and earth wiring faults, by a combination of red LEDs. The tester is equipped with a look up chart, which can provide basic fault diagnosis.

The BZ820-EV connects to an EVSE charging point using the Type-2 connector. The integral CP mode slider switch allows vehicle states to be simulated, which are as follows:
