Martindale EZ664 Advanced Socket Tester

The Martindale EZ664 Advanced Socket Tester gives total socket testing flexibility, through the ability to connect to either a standard 13 amp plug or via flying leads. This is ideal for the testing of light fittings, fused spurs and terminals. By using two groups of LEDs, the EZ664 is able to indicate wiring condition, mains voltage level and earth loop impedance, with three tricolour LEDs indicating the condition of the wiring at the socket. The front of the tester displays a table which presents the results taken, whether that be pass or fail, or the type of fault that is present.

The EZ664 also has the ability to check for the earth loop impedance of the wiring under test, and can also indicate the measured value in six ranges thanks to three tricolour LEDs. Earth loop impedance can be measured with a 30mA or higher RCD in circuit without it tripping. The EZ664 is supplied with both a 13A, 3 pin Martindale TL207 adaptor, as well as a Martindale TL36, 3 way flying lead with crocodile clips, which allows for the testing at light fittings, fused spurs, and terminals. The innovative EZ664 is able to detect and indicate if the mains voltage is below 195V, above 270V, or if the neutral to earth voltage is greater than 30V. Should the voltage be outside of these parameters, then loop impedance will not be measured.
