The Martindale NC3 Non-Contact Voltage Detector is capable of detecting both AC voltage and magnetic fields. The AC voltage detection range goes from 200V to 1000V RMS with a frequency range of 40Hz to 400Hz and it can also detect magnetic fields greater than 10mT. It has an extended detection tip and multiple useful applications.

The magnetic field detection function is particularly useful for testing solenoid valves and relays without having to disassemble them, thus making the tester suitable for those working in process control and any other industry that relies on process loops. The Martindale NC3’s voltage detection feature is useful for differentiating between live and neutral lines.

The Martindale NC3 gives a visual indication of magnetic field via a yellow LED and AC voltage via a red LED whilst also providing an audible indication. It also has an integrated torch and a pen shape that has a pocket clip for added practicality. It also has a Cat IV 1000V safety rating.
