The Megger AVO840 TRMS 1000 V AC/DC Digital Multimeter has been designed with professional electricians, technicians, service personnel and engineers in mind, for tasks that require high reliability, build quality, and performance in a range of environments. The AV0840 is suitable for applications where more than basic functions are required, with the features required for troubleshooting and to repair electrical and electronic systems. This true-rms multimeter is perfect for everyday use, where an accurate and rugged meter is required. With analogue bar graph aid, the AVO840 can trouble shoot signals that change over time, with the graph helping the interpretation of these readings.

The AV0840 features a built-in torch which, coupled with an ergonomic design, makes dealing with electrical challenges a much simpler task. The LED torch eliminates the need for a second torch when working in dim conditions, making operation much simpler. The AVO840 is further enhanced by both Bluetooth and a mobile app which is available for both Android and iOS devices. The free Megger AVO Link App allows for the user to share live measurements, monitor readings from safe distances, and conduct advanced diagnostics.

Low impedance (Low-Z) mode offers a low impedance input to the circuit under test, which reduces the possibility of false readings due to ghost voltages, and improves accuracy when testing to determine absence or presence of voltage. The AV0840 also provides Min/Max/Average readings and is able to measure diodes, frequency, capacitance, and temperature thanks to the included Type K thermocouple. Built-to-last and offering long-term stability, the AVO840 expertly combines a plethora of features and precise measurements, offering the user a highly-accurate yet simple-to-use multimeter.
