Megger DET4TR2 Rechargeable Earth Tester

The Megger DET4TR2 Rechargeable Earth Tester is a unique instrument, principally used for ground rod and soil resistivity testing with two voltage outputs of 25V or 50V. The simple dial interface allows the user to easily switch between options of two-pole, three-pole and four-pole testing and there is now no need for to fit shorting links when carrying out two-pole tests. The sizeable, clear LCD display and large ‘test’ button make the Megger DET4TR2 perfect for outdoor use.

Further to its simple operation, the Megger DET4TR2 automatically checks the connection of the P spike and the C spike and shows their status on the display. An integrated voltmeter allows the user to check the ground voltage. Resistance can be measured between 0.01Ω and 20kΩ and earth voltage from 0 to 100kV. Interference can be negated by the device up to 40V peak to peak.

The Megger DET4TR2 is powered by rechargeable AA batteries and includes a battery charger and AC/DC adaptor. The instrument is rated as Cat IV up to 100V and meets various safety standards. It provides everything you need for comprehensive earth testing in one handy package as this effective tester is supplied with test leads, stakes, terminal adaptors for bare wire, a calibration certificate, and a hard carry case.
