The Megger digiPHONE+2 is a shock wave receiver which has been meticulously engineered for the pinpointing of faults in cables using a fusion of acoustic and electromagnetic methods. At its core, it leverages advanced noise-damping technologies, with BNR (Background Noise Reduction) ensuring that operators will only hear the fault signal, while APM (Automatic Proximity Mute) silences the headset when the sensor is lifted or disturbed. This protects against sudden loud noises, so that only relevant fault sounds are detected.

The digiPHONE+2’s features simplify fault location, with the cable compass able to display a green line that mechanically guides users along the cable’s path, indicating whether you are left or right of it and at what angle it lies. Meanwhile, the fault arrow clearly points to the direction of the fault, and the distance to the fault can be displayed in milliseconds, meters, or feet, making fault location both accurate and accessible.

The digiPHONE+2 is available as standard, as part of the digiPHONE+2 NT Set, which includes ESG earth rods, or as part of the digiPHONE+2 NTRX Set, which includes ESG earth rods and a Ferrolux receiver.
