Megger EGIL200 Circuit Breaker Analyser

The Megger EGIL200 Circuit Breaker Analyser has been designed with ease of use in mind and ensures that the time spent setting up measurements is kept to a minimum. Connection to the test object is streamlined to ensure that a range of measurements can be made with ease and precision, and with only one hook-up, all of the following measurements can be made:

  • Timing of main and PIR contacts
  • Coil current analysis of close, open 1, and 2 coils
  • Station voltage measurements
  • Motion measurements
  • Motor current measurement
  • Minimum pickup voltage test for close, open 1, and open 2

With both the main instrument and accessories designed for the most demanding field conditions, the EGIL200 is the complete toolbox for daily, hassle-free circuit breaker condition assessments. Megger's patented DualGround timing using the DCM module makes testing safe by keeping the circuit breaker grounded on both sides throughout the test.

The EGIL200 delivers all standard measurements in accordance with IEEE C37 and IEC 62271, bringing advanced features from the high-end TM series into a compact, mid-range solution. Designed for medium to high voltage circuit breakers, it offers intuitive, user-friendly operation with minimal input required, from power-up to generating a documented result. Housed in a rugged IP67-rated case and supplied with a backpack for accessories, it is built for field use. The instrument features one-click PDF reporting or optional integrated printing, a dedicated open coil 2 control output, and multifunctional control channels that can handle control pulses, station voltage, and coil current from a single connection. Auxiliary contact timing channels are galvanically isolated, polarity-independent, and automatically adapt to dry or wet contacts. The unit also provides accurate PIR contact timing and resistance measurements using patented Active Interface Suppression, and supports static and dynamic resistance measurements on up to three contacts, depending on the model.
