The Megger MCT105 Cable Locator is designed to help locate a wide range of things, whether that be locating cables or metallic conductors, identifying fuses or breakers on electrical circuits, or finding breaks or short circuits in cables and underfloor heating systems. The MCT105 can also trace metallic water and heating pipes, and is a reliable option for undertaking any of the aforementioned tasks.

With visible and audible signal strength indication, and automatic or manual sensitivity adjustment, the transmitter operates on 5 voltage ranges: 12V, 50V, 120V, 230V, and 400V. The MCT105 operates up to a depth of 2.5m, and both the receiver and transmitter harness an auto power off feature, aswell as low battery indicators.
