The Megger MPAC208 Pro Kit brings together three powerful inspection tools in one complete solution: the Megger MPAC208 Acoustic Imaging Camera, the Megger MPAC-V Verifier and the Megger Thermal Camera Module 640 x 512; making it easier to detect faults that simply cannot be seen with the naked eye.

At the centre of the kit is the MPAC208 acoustic imaging camera. It uses 208 highly sensitive MEMS microphones to capture ultrasonic sound and convert it into a clear, heat-map style overlay on a real-time visual image. A 13 MP optical camera and large touchscreen display allow you to view acoustic and visual data together, giving you confidence in every diagnosis. With a detection range of up to 200 metres, inspections can be carried out safely and efficiently, even across large industrial spaces.

Also included is the MPAC-V Verifier/Ultrasound Generator, which produces controlled ultrasonic signals to confirm whether the acoustic camera is operating correctly. This enables technicians to check alignment and performance on site, ensuring consistent and reliable results before critical inspections begin.

Thermal imaging capability is added via the 640 x 512 resolution thermal camera module. It connects directly to the MPAC208 through a simple USB-C interface, expanding the system to capture detailed heat images alongside acoustic data. Temperature differences are clearly displayed, helping you identify overheating components, insulation breakdown and developing electrical faults. Both acoustic and thermal functions operate within the same intuitive software platform, making it easy to compare heat and sound anomalies side by side. The result is a more complete understanding of asset condition than either method alone can provide.

This Megger MPAC208 Pro Kit is ideally suited to predictive maintenance programmes and industrial fault finding. Typical applications include detecting compressed air and gas leaks, locating mechanical faults at an early stage, checking electrical systems for signs of deterioration, reducing energy losses and preventing costly unplanned downtime.
