Megger NIM1000 Impedance Meter

The Megger NIM1000 Impedance Meter delivers up to 1 kA of test current to measure loop impedance and identify faults or weaknesses in low-voltage (LV) electrical networks at an early stage. It reliably detects load-dependent and neutral faults, uncovers weak contacts, and reveals hidden defects that may compromise installation safety. Depending on the network’s earthing system, the NIM 1000 can also perform multi-phase measurements, including the determination of neutral conductor impedance, to expose issues that pose significant operational and safety risks.

The NIM 1000 is a highly versatile diagnostic tool capable of assessing the real current-carrying capacity of a network, calculating the voltage drop for a specified load, and testing cables, supply lines, and bus-bars.
