The Megger SMRT 1B Single Phase Relay Test System is a compact yet powerful single phase relay test system designed for protection engineers who need reliable, high-performance testing in the field or workshop. It combines high compliance voltage with strong current output, allowing It to test a wide variety of electromechanical, solid-state and microprocessor-based protection relays. With a built-in 10.1” colour touch screen, engineers can carry out manual, steady-state and dynamic testing directly from the unit without needing a PC.

The SMRT 1B works seamlessly with Megger’s Relay Test Management Software (RTMS) when automation or advanced analysis is required. RTMS allows users to streamline test plans, apply automated routines and generate structured reports, and it comes without dongle or licensing restrictions. This makes the system flexible for team environments, as software can be installed across multiple devices without additional cost.

Built for portability and versatility, the unit can operate from standard AC mains or optional battery packs for work in remote areas. Its voltage channel can also be switched to function as a second current source, supporting applications such as single-phase differential and harmonic restraint relay testing.
