Megger Thermal Camera Module with 384 x 288 Resolution

The Megger Thermal Camera Module with 384 x 288 Resolution is built for seamless integration with the Megger MPAC208 Acoustic Imaging Camera, expanding its capabilities by adding high‑resolution thermal imaging. Connection is quick and secure through simple attachment to the top of the MPAC208 via a keyed USB-C port. The firmware within the camera already supports the module, meaning no additional configuration is needed.

Equipped with a 384 x 288 IR sensor at 17 µm, the unit delivers detailed thermal images across the full scene. Operating in the 8 to 14 µm range, it captures temperature data throughout the image, allowing accurate assessment of electrical panels, mechanical systems and other critical assets. A NETD of 60 mK at 25°C supports clear thermal contrast, while the 25 Hz frame rate ensures smooth image capture during inspections.

The optical system includes a 28.4° × 21.4° field of view, a 13 mm focal length, and a minimum object distance of 0.1 m for close-up analysis. A 60:1 distance‑to‑spot ratio assists with focused temperature measurements, and temperature ranges from –20 °C to 120 °C and 120 °C to 550 °C accommodate a wide variety of industrial applications. Digital zoom from 1x to 6x helps you pinpoint areas of concern without interrupting your workflow. All thermal images and video recordings captured with the module can be imported into Megger’s Analyst software alongside acoustic data. This supports deeper analysis and streamlined report generation, keeping documentation consistent and professional.
