The Protimeter SurveyMaster Moisture Meter BLD5375 helps professionals to find building moisture levels during buildings or refurbishments in flood damaged restorations, building surveys and and flooring inspections. Using the BLD5375, professionals can identify the extent of moisture penetration and diagnose the cause of the problem whilst monitoring any changes to the moisture level. Suitable for use with wood, drywall, building materials, concrete, fibreglass boat hulls and more the DLB5375 offers both pin and non-invasive measurement capabilities.

With two modes of operation - search and measure, the BLD5375 helps the user to distinguish between sub-surface and surface moisture helping to establish the extent and cause of any damp problem.

Search Mode non-invasive

The BLD5375 in search mode allows for the assessment of moisture level beneath the surface of solid walls and floors independently of surface conditions. With a nominal depth of measurements of 3/4 inch (19mm) (dependent on the density and other characteristics of the material being used). When held against a surface, the BLD5375 will transmit a signal in to the material. The relative moisture level will shown on the display with a scale of colour coded lights green (dry), At yellow (risk) and Wet (red).

Using the Search mode, users of the BLD5375 are able to search for moisture behind walls and floor coverings such as tile and vinyl and map the extent of the problem numerically.

Measure Mode

Using the Measure Mode of the BLD5375, users are able to measure the moisture level at the surface and at incremental depth when used with the included auxiliary probes. With precise and specific measurements of the immediate area of contact with the electrodes. The exact moister content of wood is shown on the display with the corresponding moisture condition shown via the colour coded lights. The Wood Moisture Equivalent (WME) value is shown for other non-conductive ports building materials.

With measure mode of the pin type probes of the BLD5375, moisture in wood and other building materials can be measured. Deep wall probes (optional extra) can establish the presence of moisture in wall cavity insulation, sub and surface structures.

Using Protimeters patented Reference Mode, users are able to establish what materials are above or below a point of reference or dry standard.

With a large easy to read display, the BLD5375 also offers automatic calibration checks every 50 power cycles and user field calibration of the non-invasive mode. Further features include Bluetooth connectivity, allowing for connection to the Photometer Connect App, providing users with the ability to save and download measurements with a date and time stamp.

Protimeter Connect App

The SurveyMaster BLD5375 is compatible with the Protimeter Connect App allowing for the storage of measurement readings from all functions of the meter thanks ton BLE connectivity. All values can be monitored through the append data collected as images or as a spreadsheet. Individual job set ups can be completed with each measurement time and date stamped with a GPS location. The material type and measurement locations can be stored with images embossed with measurement readings. Available for download on both iOS and Android devices.

The BLD5375 boasts a user defined auto shut off function to help preserve battery life and over the air firmware updates ensuring the SurveyMaster is always up to date.
