The Radiodetection 6100-Gfast Ultra-Broadband Network Analyser with DSL Bonding is built to help technicians with the installation, maintenance and repair of DSL & voice circuits. Ideal for Ultra-Broadband deployments including Bonded-VDSL2 and ADSL2+ deployments, this analyser is a complete DSL & copper testing set featuring the latest in ADSL2+, VDSL2 and G.fast chipset-based, connectivity tools. These technologies cover the ITU-G Series 9700 and 9701 recommendations, providing rapid access to subscriber terminals. Alongside highly-automated scripted and customisable tests, the 6100-Gfast with Bonding offers traditional copper measurements including voltage, resistance, capacitance and time domain reflectometry (TDR). With support for enhanced ADSL2+, VDSL2, VDSL2 35b, single pair and bonding tasks, this model is very much future-proof. Advanced Network Testing Features

Providing operators with access to a wide range of highly advanced features, the 6100-Gfast Ultra-Broadband Network Analyser is suitable for numerous key applications. For example, ensure high-quality, consistent multiplay services by detecting potential bottlenecks in subscriber loops. For circuit qualification in any VDSL2 band plan (8, 12, 17, 30 and 35MHz), a 35MHz spectrum analysis feature is incorporated. In addition for automated closeout testing, configurable results are built-in which can be customised for pass/fail results in tests such as voltage, current or resistance. Determine the maximum ADSL2+ data rates that a copper loop could support with the Data Rate Prediction (ADRP) pre-qualification report prior to connecting or provisioning the circuit and equipment. The adjustable POTS auto tests will detect the loop current and measure the subsequent voice frequency parameters in a copper telephone loop.

Whilst using 6100-Gfast Network Analyser with DLS Bonding, measure and report suspect voltages, shorts, opens or balance issues from a single end or, with the inclusion of a FED put the required opens and shorts at the dual-ends of the circuit under test. An optional TDR and RFL/K-test allows service providers to perform Loop and fault analysis for VDSL2 or ADSL2+ prequalification. Test noise including VF Impulse, WB PSD or Power Influence up to 35Mhz and complete resistance isolation tests on voltages anywhere from 50 V up to 500 V. Further DSL/IP tests and information provided by the Radiodetection 6100-Gfast include a connection summary tab which displays the pass/fail status and details of the test results. Another tab shows information concerning the WAN Status and the connection between WAN port of the 6100-Gfast and the ISP. A LAN status tab displays the LAN pass/fail status and parameters along with the Bytes, Packets and Errors. An Ethernet Connection Summary provides WAN/LAN Port Line Status and Link Speed, plus Bytes, Packets and Errors. This model even allows for VoIP calls, place and receive VoIP calls while displaying phone numbers, call status, and statistics.

The Radiodetection 6100-Gfast Ultra-Broadband Network Analyser boasts a Throughput Test where operators can choose from either iPerf3 Test or Speedtest by Ookla. iPerf3 and Ookla both come with a wealth of configurable options including selecting specific servers, IP adresses and setting test duration. This throughput validation provides Multiplay service assurance by validating bandwidth performance and speed.

A loop diagnostic tool within the 6100-Gfast displays the characteristics and potential problems on the line in graphical format. When the relevant information is available from the DSLAM, upstream and downstream diagnostic data is displayed as a full colour graph or while in G.fast mode, 4 separate graphs are shown for each pair. The Band Information option details one page/pair in Bonding mode and allows you to view a list of individual upstream or downstream band parameter details such as SNR Margin, Loop Atten (VDSL), Signal Attenuation (ADSL, G.fast), Tx/Output Power and KL0. Finally, a Data Test Summary tab displays the pass/fail status of the selected data tests enabled in the connection setup including Ping test, FTP test, Trace Route test and Web Browser test.

Other advanced features include Wideband attenuation, crosstalk noise test (NEXT), Bridge test (two and four wire RFL), K-test (single and repeated mode) and an Intelligence test to determine and automatically locate the core physical problem. The FaultMapper tool, included as standard in all 6100 models, can be used to identify or locate shorts, opens, grounds, bridged tap and load coils. Ergonomic and Hard-Wearing Design

The 6100-Gfast Ultra-Broadband Network Analyser with DSL Bonding offers a 6" LCD, colour, touch-screen display completely readable even in bright daylight while the handgrip area makes hand-held operation effortlessly comfortable. Operated via easy-to-understand menus, a 1GB internal memory and a multifunction keypad, the compact yet rugged design of this unit is ideal for network technicians in the field. The innovative and icon-driven user interface is compatible with the handy Stylus, included as standard with the 6100 range. Two 1 GigE RJ45 ports, G.fast, VDSL2, and ADSL2+ RJ11 port are all safely sealed against the environment with banana connectors supporting G.fast/DSL and copper testing. A compartment on each side on the model protects the interface connections such as the USB port from water and dirt ingress. These multiple connection options add to the versatility of the 6100, whilst the all-round rubber casing protects against physical damage and is IP54 rated for use in the harshest conditions.
