Updated to be fully compliant with the 5th edition of the IET Code of Practice, the Apollo 600+ includes functions such as:

The Seaward Apollo 600+ PAT Tester boasts improved functionality which allows it to print QR-coded PAT labels in conjunction with a Seaward Test n Tag Elite 2 Printer. It can also connect to a Seaward scanner to read 1D/2D labels and QR codes. These codes have the additional advantage of being compatible with a smartphone, resulting in a system where multiple users can access the necessary test data. The improved firmware promotes an enhanced user interface with a highly useful database search function, whilst the external rechargeable battery can be swapped in the field reducing needless downtime. Offering a fully comprehensive array of tests the Apollo 600 can ensure electrical safety of all 230V and IT equipment along with basic testing for 110V appliances. It can even test 3-phase equipment and point to point testing of fixed appliances.

The Apollo 600+ PAT tester is fully battery powered and very light and portable. Mains powered tests such as Earth Leakage, Touch Current or RCD Trip Time testing can also be carried out where required. The tester can even be used while plugged in to recharge batteries. Thanks to the aforementioned enhanced firmware, navigation through saved results and images is now quicker and easier, with a database search function making it easier to find specific tests, appliances or sites. It is also possible to create separate, password-protected user profiles with customised access permissions.

Risk Assessment Tool & On-Board Camera

Completing this all-in-one health and safety solution, the Seaward Apollo 600+ includes a universal risk assessment tool which allows any potential hazards within the workplace to be recorded, along with risk scores and the planning of corrective actions should any problems arise. Built-in test and inspection reports cover such assessments as fire alarm systems and emergency lighting checks, with the option to add more reports as and when they are required.

By incorporating risk assessment tools alongside a vast range of electrical safety tests, the 600 Plus PAT Tester is fully compliant with the 5th Edition of the IET Code of Practice and the latest guidance from the HSE. This tool allows users to calculate individual re-test dates based on the risk associated with using each appliance. Data Record Keeping & Data Transfer Capabilities

In addition, the Apollo 600 Plus can store up to 2000 images that can be tagged to assets and up to 50,000 test records. Data transfer can be done to a PC or a tablet/smart phone with compatible PAT Software.

The Seaward Apollo 600+ is compatible with the new Seaward PATGuard 3 software allowing users to keep track of test history and produce detailed risk assessment reports and PAT certificates. Furthermore, accessories including a Seaward Bluetooth scanner and Seaward Test n’ Tag Elite printer are available to speed up the process of asset recognition and labelling.

The new QR-code functionality of the Seaward Apollo 600+ improves communication with customers in addition to facilitating a quicker, more accurate PAT testing regime. Using a QR code means that more information can be accessed with a quick scan and also allows an end user to view and distribute information by scanning the customised label with a smartphone or tablet.
