The Seaward PrimeTest 100 Maintenance PAT Testing Kit combines the compact, battery-powered Seaward PrimeTest 100 Tester with a practical selection of accessories for routine in-house PAT testing and maintenance work. It is designed for engineers, facilities teams and competent users who need to test a broad range of portable electrical appliances, extension leads and IEC leads while working in line with the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice and BS EN 50699. The kit gives users the tester, adaptors, labels and paperwork needed to carry out testing, record results and identify equipment clearly after inspection.

At the centre of the kit is the Seaward PrimeTest 100, built for fast, straightforward operation without unnecessary complexity. Pre-programmed test sequences allow Class I appliances, Class II appliances and IEC leads to be tested at the push of a button, with clear PASS/FAIL indication and measured values shown on the large LCD display. Selectable 250V or 500V insulation resistance testing, user-adjustable earth continuity limits, Class II FE testing and long lead testing provide useful flexibility for different appliance types and site conditions. When connected to a mains outlet, the tester can also check socket wiring and mains voltage, helping users identify supply issues before testing equipment.

For manual PAT testing, the PrimeTest 100 offers dependable performance in a highly portable format. Because it is battery powered, it can be used where moving quickly between appliances is more important than working from a fixed bench setup. Seaward's ZAP technology helps improve earth continuity measurements where surface contamination such as rust, limescale or paint can make reliable readings more difficult.
