The Seaward PrimeTest 100 Small Business PAT Testing Kit comes with the core accessories needed to test common electrical equipment, record results and clearly label tested appliances. The tester is updated for the IET 5th Edition Code of Practice and is compliant with BS EN 50699, helping businesses meet their ongoing electrical safety responsibilities with confidence.

The kit is built around the compact, battery-powered Seaward PrimeTest 100 PAT tester, which offers straightforward operation through pre-programmed test sequences for Class I appliances, Class II appliances and mains cords, where each sequence can be selected at the press of a button.

The PrimeTest 100 features a large LCD display that provides clear PASS/FAIL indications alongside measured values. Selectable 250V or 500V insulation resistance testing, user-selectable earth continuity limits, Class II FE testing and long lead testing give the flexibility to test a wider range of portable electrical equipment. When connected to a power outlet, the built-in socket check also verifies mains voltage and wiring, helping to identify supply issues quickly before testing begins.

The PrimeTest 100 is ideal for manual, low-volume testing where results are written down, but it can also support digital record keeping through the free Seaward PATMobile App. Test records can be entered and stored electronically, with barcode scanning, photo tagging, label printing and reporting available from a compatible smartphone or tablet. This provides a convenient upgrade path for businesses that want more organised records without moving to a fully downloadable PAT tester.

To support day-to-day testing, the small business kit includes a Test-Meter PRO TMP989 230V 13A Socket Tester for checking socket wiring before use, while the IEC Adaptor Kit helps with testing common IEC power leads found on computers, monitors and other office equipment. A PAT Register Book and PAT Certificate Pad simplify documentation, helping you maintain organised records and demonstrate compliance during inspections. The generous supply of pass labels, pass wrap labels and fail labels allows appliances to be clearly identified after testing, making it easy to monitor equipment status across the workplace.
