Testo 104-IR Waterproof Folding Food Thermometer

The Testo 104-IR Waterproof Folding Food Thermometer is the world’s first waterproof folding thermometer. With a contact measurement range of -50˚C to 250˚C, accuracy of ±1% and a resolution of 0.1˚C, it is ideal for spot checks in the food industry, for example checking that food is cooked through or stored at the correct temperature. It also has non-contact infrared measurement from -30˚C to 250˚C.

Temperature measurements are taken through the Testo 104’s folding measurement tip. The tip is 106mm long but has a diameter of just 2.3mmø so it has very little impact on the food under test. As the thermometer is completely waterproof (IP65), it can be used in almost any circumstances and washed quickly under the tap.

The body of the Testo 104 has a non-slip rubber casing which makes it easy to handle during use. Results are shown on the thermometer’s digital screen and it has auto hold and min/max readings. It is a compact instrument, weighing just 165g, and the folding mechanism allows it to be kept in the user’s pocket. The thermometer has a 100-hour battery life and a two-year warranty.
