The Testo 164 DC is a compact online data logger designed for automatic door contact monitoring, making it a practical choice for environments where door opening and closing events need to be tracked reliably. Its small, unobtrusive design helps it fit neatly into monitored areas without getting in the way.

As part of the wider Testo 160/162/164 online data logger system, the 164 DC works with the Testo Saveris Cloud and Testo Smart App for setup, alarm handling and measurement data review. Data is sent to the Testo 164 Gateway via a proprietary wireless connection, while alerts for limit values violations can be issued by push notification, email or optional SMS. A Testo Data Monitoring licence is required to operate the system.

With IP67 protection, a measuring and communication rate from 1 minute to 24 hours, and battery life of up to 8 years under stated conditions, the Testo 164 DC is a practical option for long-term remote monitoring where door status forms part of a wider environmental control setup.
